 What is SWAYAM Yojana?

Types of SWAYAM Yojana

This scheme is for unemployed or under employed odisha under SWATANTRA YUVA UDYAMI,it consisted of two types for Rural and Urban aspirational enterpreuners :

i.SWAYAM

ii.SWAYAM(U)

 Objectives of SWAYAM Yojana

SWAYAM Yojana is implemented with a well designed objective that strengthen odisha’s vision to empower Economy of the state and its young enterpreuners in future. These objectives include:

 1. Promotion of entrepreneurship  and self-employment: 

The primary objective of SWAYAM Yojana is to transform the mindset of youth from job seeker to job provider so this scheme will encourage for self employement  develop entrepreneurship mindset among the youth of Odisha.SWAYAM Yojana will provide them adequate resources and support, the scheme aims to cultivate culture of innovation and self-reliance, empowering young minds to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

 2. Providing financial Support and training: 

 Securing required financing is one of the biggest challenges faced by aspiring entrepreneurs. SWAYAM Yojana addresses the issue by providing subsidized and interest free loans of 95,000/- to the applicant and only 5%margine money to be paid by  eligible applicants. Additionally, the scheme provides training and handholding support to help entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of starting, running and growing the business.

 3. Providing a supportive ecosystem for start-ups:

 Eligibility Criteria for SWAYAM Yojana

i.Applicant’s family is covered under KALIA/BSKY Scheme or having income of less than Rs. 2lakh per annum.

ii.Applicant must have UDYAM registered/UDYAM assisted number.

Age: 18 and 35 years.For applicants belonging SC/ST/PWD Categories,the upper age limit considered as 40years.

Exclusion Criteria

i.Defaulter in any bank/Financial institution or having loan for same purpose from any central/state Government schemes.

ii.Regular employees of central/state government/psus/statutory bodies and their families.

iii.If one member in the family is covered under this scheme.

Step 3:- Fill Out the Application Form.

Step 4:-Prepare and Upload following Required Documents.

  i - Proof of identity (Aadhaar card, voter ID)

 ii  - Proof of educational qualifications

 iii  - Proof of Odisha domicile /Residence Certificate

 iv  - Detailed business plan

 v- Financial projections and market analysis
