New Delhi.  Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said on Wednesday that the government will give Rs 8500 crore for making gas from coal and for this both Coal India Limited and GAIL will work together.  He was giving information on the decisions taken in the Union Cabinet meeting.

He said, "The coal mine is 361 million tonnes and it can meet the needs for about 125 years."  Joshi said that coal mining cannot be abolished.

 Pralhad Joshi said, "Today, a very important decision in the history of coal department and coal has been taken by the cabinet under the leadership of PM Modi. India is the largest country in the world in coal mining. 80% of coal is used for electricity generation.  Is."  He said that the export of coal will be stopped in 2025-26, it will continue only for some plants.
