Ram Mandir: America's Times Square becomes 'mini Ayodhya', grand program in more than a thousand temples
Ram mandir celebration: After centuries of penance, the day has finally come when Ram Lalla will sit in his temple and there is enthusiasm among Indians all over the world about this and wherever people of Hindu community are, they are celebrating there.
Even in America, people of the Hindu community are as enthusiastic as they are in Ayodhya.
Ahead of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, members of 'Overseas Friends of Ram Mandir' distributed laddus in Times Square in New York on Sunday (local time). Prem Bhandari, a member of the organization, said that this program is being celebrated with great pomp in America also.

Let us tell you that in all the Hindu temples in America today, special worship is being done in every temple and different programs have been organized. It is being told that there are about one thousand Hindu temples in America and every temple is decorated today. Rallies of hundreds of cars have been taken out with Ram Dhun.
Organization member Prem Bhandari has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for connecting people from all over the world with this event.
Prem Bhandari said, "We never thought that we would witness this divine day in our lifetime. The consecration ceremony will take place very soon. People are celebrating it even in Times Square and the place looks no less than Ayodhya. People of Indian origin are celebrating and these events are being organized at various places."
He further said, that "Lord Ram is returning after 'exile' and all this is happening because of the leadership of PM Modi. He has made the entire atmosphere 'Rammay' across the world. He has not only saved 140 crore people Not only has it united the country, it has also united the country. Indian expatriates abroad are also celebrating this event. This day is no less than Diwali."
Meanwhile, the United States is preparing ahead of the enthronement ceremony, with nearly a dozen events planned across the United States to celebrate this historic occasion.
Events will be held from New York Times Square to Boston, as well as in Washington, DC, Los Angeles and San Francisco, coinciding with the celebrations in India.
Billboards have been hung in other states, including Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Georgia. Additionally, according to Vishwa Hindu Parishad, US branch, the states of Arizona and Missouri are set to join the visual festival, which began on January 15.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), US Chapter, in collaboration with Hindus across America, has put up over 40 billboards across 10 states that will show live the grand 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the birthplace of Shri Ram.
To commemorate the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Hindu American community across the US has organized several car rallies and has planned many more events for the 'Pran Pratishtha' in Ayodhya.
How is the program of Pran Pratistha?
Notably, the process of Pran Pratishtha has started from January 16. While the 'Prayashchit' and Karmakuti puja was performed on January 16, the idol entered the premises on January 17.
On January 18, the idol of Ram Lalla was installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand new temple.
Aushadhivas, Kesaradhivas, Ghritadhivas were organized on 19th January, Dhanyadhivas on 19th January, Sugardhivas, Phaladhivas, Pushpadhivas on 20th January and Madhyadhivas and Shayadhivas were organized on 21st January.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is performing rituals to commemorate 'Pran Pratistha'. A team of priests led by Laxmikant Dixit is leading the main ritual.
On this occasion, RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries will be present along with PM Modi. Special guests from cricket world, film world, saint society, politics, art, literature and culture and other fields have also been invited to the ceremony.
