15000 Drones for Women self-help groups , Modi cabinet approved the Central Sectore Scheme.

 

The Union Cabinet meeting was held Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi. Many schemes were approved in this meeting. Union Minister Anurag Thakur gave information on the decisions of the cabinet. He informed that the Union Cabinet has approved the Central Sector Scheme for providing drones to women self-help groups. Cabinet approved for extention of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) for the next five years.

HIGHLIGHTS

1. Drones to be provided to 15,000 selected Women's SHGs during 2023-24 to 2025-2026 for providing rental services to farmers .

2. Union Cabinet approves Central Sector Scheme.

3. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will increase for the next five years.

The Union Cabinet meeting was held today under the chairmanship of PM Modi. Many schemes were approved in this meeting. Union Minister Anurag Thakur gave information on the decisions of the cabinet. He informed that the Union Cabinet has approved the Central Sector Scheme for providing drones to women self-help groups. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana(PMGKY) further  extended for the next five years.

Central sector scheme approved

Anurag Thakur said that today the Union Cabinet approved the Central Sector Scheme for providing drones to women self-help groups. He informed that drones will be provided to 15,000 selected women farmers during 2023-24 to 2025-2026 for agricultural use.
 

Prime Minister extended the time of Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana

 He also said that in the last five years, about 13.50 crore people have come out of the poverty line. It has been decided to extend the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for the next five years. This will benefit 81 crore people. For this, the Government of India will spend Rs 11 lakh 80 thousand crores.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Union Cabinet has today approved the continuation of the Fast Track Special Court scheme for 3 years for speedy trial of cases related to rape and POCSO Act.
